i heart helsinki.

i'm the first one to admit that more often than not, i'd like to be somewhere else than where i actually am. i want to travel but stay at home, go to amazing parties with the hip and the cool as long as it doesn't take any effort, stay in but feel like i'm outdoors. i'm always sure that somewhere else is better, your food is more tasty than mine AND i constantly feel homesick to places i've never visited. you get to picture by now?











BUT as it happens, world design capital helsinki 2012 open doors weekend got me thinking about all the amazing parties i've been to, evenings when i laughed until my stomach hurt, all the beautiful places that i visit aqnd/or see on my route to work every-single-day, all the happening, events, parks, restaurants, concerts, collectives, openings, galleries, friends and endless cups of coffee i've enjoyed only this year. woppaa!







apparently nothing is better than here and now and nothing beats the everyday.
